FBI Head Comey Tosses Bomb into the Justice Department - Tells Them to Come Clean of Coverup

Whichever is the Chicken Way Out, Sessions Will Take

It is somewhat clear now that after Donnie the Liar tweeted the former President Obama had ordered wiretaps on Trump Tower the head of the FBI and others in that organization were incensed.  Since no such order was made (Presidents can't order wiretaps) and since no such wiretaps were authorized apparently the FBI felt they were being accused of breaking the law with illegal surveilance.  So the head FBI'er James Comey did this.

WASHINGTON — The F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, asked the Justice Department this weekend to publicly reject President Trump’s assertion that President Barack Obama ordered the tapping of Mr. Trump’s phones, senior American officials said on Sunday. Mr. Comey has argued that the highly charged claim is false and must be corrected, they said, but the department has not released any such statement.
Mr. Comey, who made the request on Saturday after Mr. Trump leveled his allegation on Twitter, has been working to get the Justice Department to knock down the claim because it falsely insinuates that the F.B.I. broke the law, the officials said.

Even better, when the Justice Department did nothing, Comey or someone very close to the top of the FBI leaked the story to the New York Times. So now the Justice Deparment has two choices. It can decline to issue the statement Comey wants, thus joining a conspiracy to falsely accuse Mr. Obama of something not only that he did not do, but could not do, or it can openly take on the President.

The leaking of the statement by Comey is unprecedented.  The FBI never comments on anything relating to wire taps or anything else other than Hilary Clinton.

For the Justice Department to openly take on the President of course would require courage and integrity. Let's see, who is head of Justice? Anybody think a man too racist to be a federal judge will do anything?
