18 Republicans Out of 100 Senators Oppose the Budget/Debt Ceiling Deal

Their World Ends with a Whimper, Not a Bang

After making millions of people’s live miserable, and after costing what one rating agency estimated as $24 billion the Senators opposed to operating the government and collapsing international financial markets numbered 18.  That’s 18 out of 99 Senators, and that’s all they got.

And did everybody notice how Sen. Ted Cruz went running away from the limelight, no talk shows, no news conferences, nothing.  See that’s what happens to bullies, when the going gets tough they get going, the other way.
