As everyone knows the
Obama Administration has an energy policy that is destroying the American
oil and gas business. It won’t allow
drilling in delicate nature preserves, it won’t allow sinking new oil wells off
shore of America ’s greatest natural coastlines
and it’s regulations are stifling new exploration and development of oil and
gas. Really, just listen to Republicans,
they keep saying all that.
Of course facts, with
their natural bias against Conservatives show
otherwise.
A shale-oil boom will
help the U.S. overtake Saudi Arabia as the world's largest oil producer
by 2020, according to the International Energy Agency, a shift that could
transform not just energy supplies but also U.S. politics and diplomacy
Wow, what a
difference an Administration makes when it has a coherent energy/environmental
program.
The
IEA also said natural gas will displace oil as the largest single fuel in the U.S. energy mix
by 2030. U.S. carbon-dioxide
emissions from energy consumption were down 5.3% in the first seven months of
2012, compared to the same period a year earlier, according to U.S. government
figures. That came as natural gas accounted for 31% of U.S. electricity generation in the
first eight months of this year, up from 24% a year earlier.
So yes, it is possible to have a policy which
promotes clean energy, reduces emissions and results in increased domestic
production and less reliance on foreign oil.
But don’t tell Republicans yet, they have just suffered through the
election and this news might really be harmful to their mental health.
