Jon Huntsman Talks Honestly About Government Subsidies for Business

Utah Politician Suffers Major Setback in Race for the Republican Nomination

Undeclared Republican Presidential Candidate Jon Huntsman, the former Governor of Utah and the former Ambassador to China is reported by Politico to be skipping the Iowa Caucuses.  Huntsman is quoted as saying

"I don't believe in subsidies that prop up corn, soybeans and ethanol."

Well the anti-government, pro free market, individual responsibility loving Conservatives of the Midwest just love the federal government subsidizing the agricultural industry and ethanol production, even as commodity prices reach record levels. So supporting their anti-government, pro free market, individual responsibility philosophy is just no way to win their votes.

It is not something Mitt Romney would ever do, Mr. Huntsman, look and learn.
