Northeastern University's Observationally Obvious Result from an Economic Study on the Recovery

Couldn’t They Have Just Looked Outside the Window of Their Ivory Tower?

The New York Times reports on a study that

Economists at Northeastern University have found that the current economic recovery in the United States has been unusually skewed in favor of corporate profits and against increased wages for workers

Well it is nice to have confirmation concerning what every person who actually lives in the real economy,(as opposed to those who live in the Economics Department of a University) knows.

Here is a link to The Study if you have been living on Mars for the last three years.

The Dismal Political Economist does wonder if a better use of the authors’ time might have been to come up with some type of solution.

Just a thought, hopefully it will go away soon.
