Trump willing to Delay border wall push

President Donald Trump signaled Monday he would be comfortable delaying a fight over a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border until September, possibly averting a government shutdown looming around his 100th day in office.
Speaking to conservative news outlets during a reception at the White House, Trump did not give up on his plan to get Congress to fund the wall, a key promise of his 2016 campaign. But he said he would accept a delay of that fight until the fall, conservative reporters who were present said on Twitter.
A White House official confirmed the comments.
