Is the White House Located in an Alternate Universe?
In what is news, but
shouldn’t be news, President Obama recently got a judicial nominee approved
by the Senate. Apparently that has led
to this from the New York Times via Taegan Goddard.
President Obama "will soon accelerate his efforts to put
a lasting imprint on the country's judiciary by simultaneously nominating three
judges to an important federal court, a move that is certain to unleash fierce
Republican opposition and could rekindle a broader partisan struggle over
Senate rules," the New York Times reports.
"In trying to fill the three vacancies on the 11-memberUnited States Court of Appeals for
the District of Columbia Circuit at once, Mr. Obama will be adopting a more
aggressive nomination strategy. He will effectively be daring Republicans to
find specific ground to filibuster all the nominees."

Mr. Obama is daring Republicans to find grounds to filibuster when
Republicans have consistently filibustered for no reason at all other than to deny the President a vote.
Really. We don't know where has Mr. Obama been the past four and a half
years but he needs to revisit reality.
