EPA Head Pruit Denies Global Warming is Caused by Global Warming – And Denies Other Science as Well

“Scientists have an unhealthy dedication to the truth compared to us lawyers” he did not say.

Scott Pruit, the newly minted head of the EPA has come out against science in trying to explain global warming.

Scott Pruitt, the nation’s top environmental official, strongly rejected the established science of climate change on Thursday, outraging scientists, environmentalists, and even his immediate predecessor at the Environmental Protection Agency.

“I think that measuring with precision human activity on the climate is something very challenging to do and there’s tremendous disagreement about the degree of impact, so no, I would not agree that it’s a primary contributor to the global warming that we see,” Pruitt, the newly installed EPA administrator, said on the CNBC program “Squawk Box.”

So here is what this site imagines are some of his other beliefs.  Although there is no foundation for this, since Mr. Pruitt has no foundation for his beliefs we think that is not a problem.

Washington (API).  Scott Pruit today said there was no such thing as the Law of Gravity.  “I have never seen the statute and until somebody shows me a valid law passed by Congress the Law of Gravity is just some made up thing by a bunch of Democrats who want me to fall on my ass.”

Washington (UPS)  Scott Pruitt said today that the earth does not revolve around sun.  He told reporters that for centuries it was known fact, supported by all sorts of religious groups that the sun revolved around the earth, and that any attempt to show otherwise had no scientific basis.

Washington (CPS)  Scott Pruitt said today that wind power could not create electricity.  He told supporters that all of those wind turbines were an illusion created by magician David Copperfield and was funded by liberal groups.  He said that the nation needed more pollution  because cleaning up waste by future generation would mean employment for those who otherwise would not have jobs.

Washington (ANS)  Scott Pruitt today said that the idea that water was composed of atoms of hydrogen and oxygen was false as any idiot like himself could see.  He produced a glass of water and asked reporters if they saw any hydrogen or oxygen.  He then went on to explain that table salt was not made up of sodium chloride as both of those elements were poison.
