Trying and Failing to Cover for a Stupid, Stupid Man
It’s a simple question, you either believe that human
activity is causing the climate to warm or you do not. Most people believe it does. Most scientists believe it does. Heck, most Republicans believe it does. But some people believe it does not. Mostly this is for ideological reasons, they
don’t like the inconvenient truth that government working with other governments
need to do something about global warming.
But in a display of unprecedented cowardice Donnie refuses
to say what he believes, and he refuses to let his advisers say what he
believes. The most we can get is he
believes the climate is ‘changing’.
On ABC Scott “I don’t know nothing bout no environmental
stuff” Pruit said this
“Frankly, George, I think
the whole question is an effort to get it off the point and the issue of
whether Paris
is good for this country or not,” Pruitt said. “And the president has indicated
the climate changes.”
The ‘diplomat in training’ at the UN said this.
In
an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation” this weekend, U.S. Ambassador to the
U.N. Nikki Haley seemed to suggest that Trump does not buy into that theory.
She
said Trump believes that the “climate is changing” and that he believes
“pollutants” are part of it, though she did not specify whether he believes
global warming is primarily caused by human activity.
Gosh, the President is willing to go out on a limb and
courageously declare that the climate is changing. He probably also admits the sun comes up in
the morning, but is not willing to go so far as to say that the sun sets at
night. He did not say “the jury is still
out as to why it gets dark at night and until the Fox News anchors, who we all
know are the real experts here, I will represent the good citizens of Altoona who refuse to
accept the earth moves around the sun, well at least the ones who voted for me
do”.
