Politico is reporting that House Speaker Paul Ryan may quit the Congress after this term. If so it would be a fantastic present to the nation.

Despite several landmark legislative wins this year, and a better-than-expected relationship with President Donald Trump, Ryan has made it known to some of his closest confidants that this will be his final term as speaker.

Ryan is the impetus behind one of the worst pieces of tax legislation ever, a law that when it is enacted will throw millions off of health insurance, raise health care costs for everyone, give the largest and most wealthy corporations a big tax reduction, give the people with the largest incomes a big tax break and generally screw up the economy.

He is a mean man. He wants to end the economic security for millions of Americans, gut Medicare, end Medicaid and cut Social Security. He has done nothing as Speaker except con the press into thinking he is smart. His leaving would be the only contribution he has ever or will ever make to the nationl
