Follow Up on the Wall Street Journal Editorial Opposition to Mr. Romney

Here Are His Qualifications per the WSJ

Earlier The Dismal Political Economist posted about how the editorial staff of the Wall Street Journal does not support the candidacy of Republican hopeful Mitt Romney.  On Wednesday they reviewed the Republican field, found it wanting (which really says something about the quality of that field) but had this to say about Mr. Romney’s qualifications to be President of the United States.

The former Massachusetts Governor has his campaign lines down, and he's going to repeat them whether you like it or not. His strengths include his record in business and running the Olympics, as well as a confident persona.

Well there you have it, a mixed record in running a business, running the Winter Olympics in Utah (that were bailed out in part with Federal money, but let’s not go there) and a “confident persona”.  Wow, maybe the Constitution should be amended to include those as qualification to be President, they are just so great!
