Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, brother of one President, son
of another is often mentioned as Presidential material because he does not want
to throw out every person with an Hispanic name, and at times has actually
sounded quite rational (for a Republican) on immigration.
But this attitude will never work with the Republican base
that votes in primaries, so any serious candidate has to make certain he or she
is on the ‘right’ side on immigration.
So here
is the result, from Taegan Goddard’s excellent political site.

Bush Reverses Himself on Immigration Reform
In his new book, Immigration Wars, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) makes a notable reversal on immigration reform, "arguing that creating a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants would only encourage future unauthorized immigration,"Huffington Post reports.Writes Bush: "It is absolutely vital to the integrity of our immigration system that actions have consequences -- in this case, that those who violated the law can remain but cannot obtain the cherished fruits of citizenship. To do otherwise would signal once again that people who circumvent the system can still obtain the full benefits of American citizenship."
Yep law breaking children who were brought to this country
at a young age, with no say whatsoever in the action are just a bunch of
criminals. And letting them be citizens
will just encourage every 2 year old south of Texas to rush to the nation.
Nice move Jeb, now if you will just adjust your position a little more, like shooting suspected illegals on sight then you can wrap up the nomination.
