Georgia Republican Senate Candidate Paul Broun Thinks Evolution, the Big Bang Theory and Embryology Are Wrong

Well Not Just Wrong – “Lies From the Gates of Hell”

Republicans are trying to soften the brand, but that is not going well.  In Georgia there will be an open Senate seat, and the only declared Republican candidate is, well, a little extreme.

Broun is the only announced member
running in the race to succeed Chambliss.
But some GOP operatives worry he is too conservative
to win in the general.

Conservative Rep. Paul Broun once called evolution, embryology and the big-bang theory “lies straight from the pit of Hell.”

Well the good news for Republicans here is that there may be other candidates, ones who also don’t support evolution and science but don’t think such ideas come from the pit of Hell.  In their minds such ideas are just a liberal conspiracy to remove God from modern life.

Yeah, that should be a lot more appealing.
